Oh, Mexico. While I haven't seen all of you - it is definitely on the list. Whether you are seeking out empty, white sand beaches, big waves, ancient ruins, culturally rich cities, or just darn good margaritas, Mexico has it all. And all at pretty affordable prices.
It is also chock-full of adventure. Be it snorkeling in picturesque coral reefs at Cabo Pulmo, exploring ancient ruins in the Yucatan, swimming with sea lions and whale sharks in La Paz, climbing in Potrero Chico, or canyoneering in La Huasteca. You honestly cannot go wrong with a trip to Mexico - especially if you are looking to get off the beaten path and have some authentic experiences.
best time to visit
While this definitely depends on the destination in Mexico, I would say for the drier areas (like Baja) you should try to visit between January and March.
